GLP-1 Weight Loss
GLP-1 refers to a class of medications that work by supporting your body's natural appetite and metabolic signals. They're clinician-prescribed as part of a supervised weight management program — not sold over the counter. LifeVine Wellness clinicians evaluate each patient individually before prescribing.
Yes. Every prescription begins with an evaluation by a licensed clinician in your state. Depending on the case and state requirements, the evaluation may be asynchronous (through your intake and secure messaging) or include a video or phone visit.
Compounded GLP-1 medications offered through LifeVine Wellness are not FDA-approved. They are dispensed by licensed compounding pharmacies pursuant to a valid prescription written by a licensed clinician based on your individual clinical evaluation. Compounded GLP-1 medications are not generic versions of, equivalent to, or therapeutically interchangeable with any commercially available, brand-name FDA-approved GLP-1 medication.
A licensed clinician reviews your health history and determines whether GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for your situation. If it is, they'll create a care plan and a prescription will be sent to our pharmacy partner for delivery to your door. If treatment is not appropriate, the clinician will tell you why, and you will not be charged for medication you do not receive.
If prescribed, your medication is dispensed by a licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped directly to your home address. Shipping timelines vary — your care team will confirm estimated delivery at the time of your prescription.
Yes. Your clinician remains available to monitor your progress, answer questions, and adjust your care plan as needed. This isn't a one-time transaction — it's an ongoing clinical relationship.
Yes. If a clinician prescribes you a medication, you have the right to have that prescription filled at the pharmacy of your choice. To request a transfer, reach out to support at support@lifevinewellness.com.
